The cargo division of ÖBB Holding is about to face a personnel change on its top management level. The mandate of Erik Regter, Member of the Board was extended for three more years last week. Also Reinhard Bamberger will remain aboard of Rail Cargo Austria in his position as CEO. From what we hear, he will take over distribution and will interimely head the contract logistics division (European Contract Logistics), which had been outsourced to the ÖBB Holding.
As of January 1, 2016 Ferdinand Schmidt will be appointed CEO for two years. Georg Kasperkovitz will resign from his management board function as per the end of 2015.
At the same time Reinhard Bamberger resigned from the Management Board of Rail Cargo Logistics AT. The new Managing Directors will be Klaus Zwinz, previous Managing Director of Rail Cargo Logistics GmbH and Head of the MAC business unit (mineral oil/agriculture/chemicals), and Osman Erol, previous Head of Rail Cargo Logistics Environmental Services GmbH. The new Business Unit Manager MAC will be Reinhold Pölzl, previous Managing Director of Rail-Cargo-Logistics.
