Vega: Premiere of new vehicle technology by Kässbohrer

Vega International Car Transport & Logistic-Trading GesmbH from Wals-Siezenheim is using a new vehicle technology. The company has taken over the first car carriers with natural gas drive from Kässbohrer Transport Technik GmbH.

The models of the Modolan series with CNG drive will be used in international shuttle operation. According to Kässbohrer, the vans are convincing with environmentally friendly fuel, a range of up to 1,500 kilometers and lower exhaust and noise emissions.

Thus, the gas-powered trucks make a significant contribution to sustainable long-distance transport. In this context, there are also the first pilot projects on the subject of “electric motors”, which shall make the transport sector cleaner in the future, the company writes in a press release.

Against this backdrop, Vega International Car Transport & Logistic-Trading GesmbH has opted for models from the Modolan gas-powered range. These vehicles meet the special requirements of international shuttle operations by combining high flexibility with modality.

Kässbohrer, headquartered in Eugendorf, offers a range of products for various transport solutions. When it comes to the transport of large-volume vehicles such as SUVs, RVs, caravans and boxcars, the Modolan series is used because of their extraordinary flexible charge design. Therefore, their models are used especially for international return and groupage transports.
