The shipping company adds a direct connection between the north of the UK and the continent via Antwerp to Europe’s biggest shortsea network

Unifeeder offers new solution for UK-traffic

From the 15th of August, Unifeeder’s customers will be able to use a direct vessel connecting Antwerp, Belgium and Dunkerque, France with Teesport, England and Grangemouth, Scotland. This new service offers an alternative to the busy port of Rotterdam, as well as a shorter trucking distance for cargo coming from southern Netherlands and beyond. The new connection is an addition to the other Unifeeder services linking Rotterdam with the ports of Felixstowe, Immingham, Teesport, South Shields and Grangemouth.

Unifeeder Shortsea provides European customers with fully intermodal door to door solutions. Any type of cargo is accepted for transport, using the best combination of sea, rail, and road. With more than 40 years in the business and as part of Europe’s strongest feeder operator, Unifeeder offers an extensive network, regularity and lead-times necessary to make shortsea a competitive alternative to conventional road transport.
