In November, TISA Speditions AG opened another location in Embrach near Zurich. Including this new branch in the centre of Switzerland, the company now has six branches in the Swiss Confederation (Widnau, Diepoldsau, St. Margrethen, Pratteln, Thayngen, Embrach), three in Austria (Hohenems, Wolfurt, Vienna) and one in Germany (Lindau).

The strength of TISA Spedition is to provide its customers with individual and customised services. The excellent infrastructure in Embrach, allows to use the North-South corridor (in combination with the customs office in Thayngen) as well as the South-North corridor (via Como, through the Gotthard) more frequently.

“In addition to traditional transports, the focus of the new branch is on high-quality logistics services: We offer logistics know-how and advice, including limited access, temperature-controlled storage space where everything is possible from storage to neutralisation, order picking or complete processing for e-shop suppliers,” explains CEO Dr. Michaela Adami-Schrott.

TISA is a family-run forwarding company that was founded in 1990 and has around 85 employees and an annual turnover of CHF 35 million (just under EUR 32 million) today. Starting from Switzerland and Austria, the company offers transports within Europe and back, the “race tracks” being Austria and Switzerland, but also Italy, France, Germany, Benelux, Turkey, as well as special and trade fair transports.

Apart from that, TISA Spedition sees itself also as a specialist for (integrated) customs solutions from a single source (imports, exports, T-documents, free passes, carnets, EU customs clearance) together with corresponding customs advice. In addition, the company offers 3,000 m² of clean and temperature-controlled handling and storage space.
