Rhenus opens new CEE warehouse in southern Poland

The Rhenus group has opened a new logistics terminal in Bolesławiec (Wałbrzych Special Economic Zone) in Lower SIlesia. The construction is an own investment and was built in line with corporate standard of Rhenus company, i.e. higher than the standard currently in force on the Polish warehouse market (A+).

The location of the facility (54 km to the border with Germany and 60 km to the border with Czech Republic) enables efficient distribution to several European markets. The attractiveness of this location for staff-driven projects is an additional advantage of the location, which also ensures the possibility of further expansion of the facility.

In the construction of the new warehouse environmentally friendly solutions were applied and the warehouse meets the high environmental requirements and guarantees friendly working environment for the employees. “In addition to handling customer wishes in a sustainable and professional manner at a strategically favourable geographical location, we would naturally like to offer our employees excellent conditions for their work as an attractive employer” says Piotr Hoch – Contract Logistics, Sales & Business Development Director at Rhenus Logistics in Poland.
