Rhenus Logistics: Seven new groupage lines to Russia

Russia has found a way out of the crisis. Imports and exports are rising again. Not only large metropolises are attractive, but the industry also increasingly relies on good investment opportunities in special economic zones beyond the Urals.

To meet the demand for transport, Rhenus has set up new groupage lines and improved its customs services. Since the beginning of May, departures to Volga Region, Tatarstan, Bashkortostan, Udmurtia, Chuvashia, Ural and Siberia are offered at least once a week, depending on the workload. Pickup by rail is carried out directly by the customer, followed by consolidation in the European hubs in Dietzenbach (Germany) and Vilnius (Lithuania).

The Rhenus Group is presently represented by several companies at nine locations in the European part of Russia. In the Contract Logistics, Freight Logistics and Port Logistics divisions, the global logistics service provider develops customer-specific concepts in the largest territorial state on the planet. Customs procedures are also included in the Service.
