NUN Overland relocates its truck hub to Styria

As a measure to optimise truck traffic from Central Europe to Turkey, the forwarding company is moving its hub from the Fürnitz freight depot in Carinthia, to Straß in southern Styria in August. At the hub general cargo shipments and LTL are consolidated.

The new location offers better connections to Turkey via the border crossing in Spielfeld, says NUN Overland’S CEO Kurt Stessl when talking to the Austrian logistics magazine Österreichische Verkehrszeitung. This is all the more so because trailer traffic routed via the port of Trieste has been past for the Styrian forwarding company for quite some time.

At the new location, a modern logistics facility with 3,500m² of warehouse space was built, and will be operated by the newly established company XPack Solutions GmbH, headed by DI (FH) Christian Walzl.
