“The strong growth in the past years has made us come to our commercial limits“, says Stefan Noerpel-Schneider, managing Associate of the Noerpel group. “Ulrich Hock is a qualified commercial manager to join our team, and support us with his comprehensive know how, further driving the expansion.“

Since January 2016 Ulrich Hock is in charge of finance and controlling at Noerpel. He is working together with Wolfgang Britz, responsible for staff, strategy and assets.

Ulrich Hock has more than 20 years of experience in controlling and finance. He had been working for Braun GmbH and later for Swatch Group SA, lately holding the position of the Commercial Head. “The challenges of an expanding logistics provider like Noerpel are very appealing to me“, said the 52-years old. “I’m looking forward to a successful medium-sized family company with many business segments, good locations and experienced employees.”

Founded in 1881, Noerpel is today a leading logistics provider in southern Germany and a regional leader for exports in Europe. Combining the segments of forwarding, logistics, co-packing, personnel leasing and a tight network connection, the corporate group offers comprehensive services from a single source.

Employing close to 1,700 persons at 13 locations in northern and southern Germany, the Rhine region and the Czech Republic, Noerpel has generated more than EUR 300 million in turnover in 2015. Heidenheimer Kentner Kraftwagen-Spedition GmbH & Co. KG and Ascherl-Noerpel GmbH Co. KG are companies of the group.
