Modified truck handling at the Enns container terminal

In the course of the launch of the new container terminal in the Ennshafen port, some modifications in truck handling have become necessary. From 30 November 2015 the follwoing time windows and regulations will apply:
Times for truck delivery and pick up: Monday – Thursday from 6:00 am to 7:00 pm, Friday from 6:00 am to 6:00 pm;
Container check at chassis: the container check will be carried out at the parking from 7:15 am to 3:45 pm
As a result of the expansion and modernisation of the Enns container terminal, the 160.000 m² facility has an annual throughput capacity of 320,000 TEU. „State-of-the-art infrastructure for railway and transhipment permit providing efficient and high-performance services for Austria’s industry. Tracks suitable for the handling of entire block trains, modern transhipment cranes and security technology ensure optimal container handling. Furthermore a full range service for containers is available“, reads a press release by Ennshafen.
