Metrans is launching a new intermodal service connecting Rotterdam RSC and Poznan Gadki in Poland 3x per week with possible rail antennas to Wroclaw (Katy Wroclawskie) 2x per week, Warszaw (Pruszkow) 3x per week and Katowice (Dabrowa Gornicza) 3x per week. Departure of the first train will be on 1 February 2016.
The Metrans company provides all-inclusive just-in-time intermodal rail/road transport services operating own shuttle trains with cargo in maritime – deep sea and short sea, reefer, tank and special containers to / from the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, the German hinterland and Austria, connecting this territory by rail with major European ports, including Hamburg, Bremerhaven, Rotterdam and Duisburg, or southbound rail connection to Koper, Trieste, Rijeka and new regular shuttle train service to Istanbul – based on a network of own high sophisticated container terminals/depots and modern railway hubs in Prague Uhřineves, Ceska Trebova (CZ) and Dunajska Streda (SK).
