Karl Gross Internationale Spedition GmbH, a Bremen-based traditional company, now has a presence in South America, in Santiago de Chile. This is where the medium-sized company has recently established its subsidiary Karl Gross Logistics Chile SpA, expanding its local service in Chile.
As one of the leading economic nations in South America, Chile has been among the country-specific priorities of Karl Gross for several years. “For logistics required for the delivery of goods to Chile, it is important to know the local market very well, to be able to set up the transport to the needs of our customers appropriately and efficiently,” says Henning Kanert, Karl Gross in Chile, citing an additional reason for the expansion of the Hanseatic company.
“The new setup enables us to serve our customers now personally on site on both ends of the transport chain, to be local and provide short, efficient communication channels,” adds Henning Kanert.
Karl Gross has been operating in the forwarding sector for 140 years.
