Opening an own branch in Hamburg (Ballindamm 39), the logistics service provider Jöbstl East continues its expansion. “The new station for the Northern Germany & Scandinavia region is a competence center for Eastern Europe, Central Asia, Caucasus / Middle – Middle East and Turkey,” the company informs in a press release.

Previously, Jöbstl East GmbH München controlled transports from Hamburg or northern Germany. “The new branch office is not a new start for us in a regional market, but the consistent implementation of our targeted growth strategy in selected markets,” emphasises Managing Director Angelika Fischer. Basically, the owner-operated Jöbstl Group wants to offer even more tailor-made logistics solutions, including air / sea freight processing in the Hanseatic city of Hamburg.

The core competence of Jöbstl East lies in the area of road and rail transport with a focus on Eastern Europe, the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS), the Caucasus, Central Asia, the Near and Middle East and Turkey. In addition, the company offers worldwide project handling including special transports with access to its own assembly crew and Air & Sea transports especially for the countries Central Asia, Caucasus, Turkey and Iran, as well as warehousing, customs clearance and consulting. “We use the optimal combination of road, rail and water to transport the goods in an environmentally friendly way,” says Angelika Fischer

The Jöbstl Group employs around 300 people at 12 locations throughout Europe. Strategic partnerships in many other countries complete the network. The headquarters of the company founded in 1924 is Wundschuh, Austria.
