After evaluating more than 200,000 reviews, the business magazine Trend, the market research institute Statista and the rating platform Kununu rated JCL Logistics among Austria’s Top Employers 2019 on April 12. Within the “Transport & Logistics” category, JCL Logistics is ranked third. A total of 300 companies were listed as top employers 2019. More than 1,000 employers with more than 200 employees in Austria were selected for the survey. In the overall ranking JCL occupies the 101st place.
The award as an attractive employer is an important one and confirms the personnel policy of JCL. “The company puts a lot of value on education and training opportunities. Professional and talented people want to bring in their skills and evolve,” says Edda Tripolt, HR manager at JCL Logistics. This award should give job seekers an orientation and support their decision.
The logistics industry has experienced high growth rates in recent years, driven by globalisation and online commerce, but the number of skilled workers has not grown at the same pace. There is a shortage of executives and specialists for dispatching, warehousing and drivers. Currently there are around 50 vacancies with JCL.
JCL Logistics, which has its headquarters in Zug (Switzerland), operates logistics and offers operational activities in the areas of road, air & ocean, rail, contract logistics and warehouse management. JCL forms a logistical network specialising in the areas retail, automotive, health & pharmaceutical, chemical, industry, fmcg and drinks logistics.
