IMS Cargo increases round trips from Germanseaports to Enns

From week 38 (17th of September), the neutral container operator IMS will increase the number of round trips from the northern ports to Enns by adding 2 departures. Each week, IMS now offers 6 departures with a capacity of more than 1,000 TEU Enns in the German seaports.

“In view of the increased demand in the recent months and the resulting capacity bottlenecks, the increase was a logical conclusion,” said Wolfgang Tomassovich, CEO at IMS, according to a press release. “Especially in the import the wait for rail loading was no longer justifiable for us, as a quality service provider. With the increase, we assume that this situation will be normalising again. “

IMS was established in 1993 as a private container operator headquartered in Vienna. The full service provider has locations in Austria, Germany, Slovakia, Hungary, Spain and Portugal, and together with global partners offers all services related to combined transport. The company has about 80 employees handling about 120,000 TEU in 2017, generating sales of EUR 35 million.
