Eva Air deploys Dreamliner to approach Vienna

The Taiwanese airline Eva Air is about to change the aircraft on the flights to Austria. From 10th May 2019, the new Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner will replace the Boeing 77-300ER on the Vienna – Taipei route. This was announced by the airline on November 14th in a press release.

Edward Ho, General Manager Eva Air Austria and CEE: “We are very proud that Vienna is getting the brand new ‘Dreamliner’. Vienna was the first long-haul destination on the Eva Air network in November 1991 and it is now the first stop in Europe served with the modern Boeing 787-9 aircraft.”

Eva Air recently took over its first two Boeing 787-9 Dreamliners and put them into service. By 2022, two more Boeing 787-9s and twenty Boeing 787-10s will be added to the fleet.

Every Monday, Thursday and Saturday, Eva Air flies nonstop from Vienna to Taipei, where connections are available to Northeast and Southeast Asia, Hong Kong, Macao, Philippines, Indonesia, numerous destinations in mainland China and Brisbane in Australia. The routing of flights on Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday is via Bangkok to Taipei.
