The EMS-Fehn Group from Leer, East Frisia, and Prangl GmbH intend to continue to work closely together on selected projects in the future. For more than two years, the companies have been cooperating successfully on the Markbygden wind farm project in northern Sweden. Those responsible see great growth potential in an intensified continuation of this cooperation, which can be beneficial to both.

Prangl GmbH, with its mobile cranes, heavy transporters, working platforms, stackers, lifting and shifting systems, is one of the top 10 crane companies in Europe. The Vienna-based company has 15 branches in Austria, Hungary, Slovakia, Slovenia and Croatia.

The EMS-Fehn Group includes 21 chartering, project logistics, special transport, crane service, port handling, yacht transport, storage and crewing companies as well as a shipping company. It is represented in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Norway, Latvia, Russia, Italy, Croatia, Albania and Northern Macedonia.

Through a project-based cooperation in the crane and heavy transport sector, synergies are expected on both sides. In addition, the management sees considerable growth potential in the Balkan markets.

The companies complement each other not only regionally and in terms of content; as owner-managed groups of companies, both pursue a sustainable business policy designed for long-term growth.
