Emirates operates now daily Airbus A380 flights to/from Vienna

Since 1st July 2016, Emirates deploys an Airbus A380 on its daily Dubai-Vienna flights and is the first airline to operate scheduled A380 flights from Vienna. Vienna International Airport welcomed Emirates’ flagship at its first landing in the frame of the scheduled service with befitting traditional water fountains on the run.

Deploying the Airbus A380, the airline from the United Arab Emirates responds to the increasing demand for flights between Austria and the emerging markets in Asia, Africa and the Middle East via the hub in Dubai.

Emirates currently offers two daily flights from Vienna to the international hub in Dubai. Since July 1, the EK127 / EK128 rotation is operated with an Airbus A380. The second daily service (EK125 / EK126) is operated – as before – with a Boeing 777- 300ER.

From Austria, Emirates SkyCargo carries such exports as electronics, pharmaceuticals or crystalware to markets in the Middle East, Africa and Asia.
