As of July members of ElectronicPartner Austria can receive their products not only through logistics via Germany, but also from a warehouse in Austria. “The additional location will enhance the availability of goods, and means an investment into faster delivery of goods to our members,” said managing director Jörn Gellermann. “These are two key factors in our industry.”
Logistics for the Austrian warehouse in Korneuburg, Lower Austria will be offered together with the provider of supply chain solutions Panalpina. “With our many years of logistics experience in the consumer electronics sector, we intend to continuously develop the already high service level for the members of the buying group together with Electronic Partner,” explains Carl Azinger, Head of Logistics Panalpina Austria.
CEO Michael Hofer is pleased that Electronic Partner can improve its positioning in terms of warehousing and logistics, through the new storage site: “It is not obvious to set priorities in these areas within a cooperation. But in this we see a clear advantage for our members, as we become a central contact for all issues.”
