The Hamburg specialist for seeds, nuts, dried fruits, legumes and merchandise of all kinds is now also able to fill small quantities of 500 grams to five kilos. The so-called flow wrap machine can also mix. In the business-to-business segment, Eichholtz thus offers its customers a completely new service: for catering and bakeries, the usual bulk packs – for example grain mixes – are not suitable because they often spoil before they are used up.

What is also new, is a plant for mixing powder. The background: Powdery products are very demanding to handle due to the dust they generate. The new system is therefore equipped with a dedusting device. Thus, products such as flours and powdery supplements can be mixed, which are used among others in the beverage industry. However, the existing mixing plant will remain in operation. It can mix coarse-grained products, such as sesame, poppy seeds and sunflower seeds, for example, for bakeries.

“As a full-service provider, we continue to develop our services, so we can implement the requirements and wishes of our customers, and the customer can get everything from one source,” CEO Franziska Kraupner explains the company philosophy of Eichholtz GmbH.
