Cut of spade for new Dachser Warehouse in Hörsching, near Linz

The Dachser logistics center Linz in Hörsching was opened in 2008. Now the company there invests EUR 10 million in a modern warehouse and thus expands its capacities.

CEO Günter Hirschbeck and branch manager Michael Rauhofer will undertake the symbolic groundbreaking ceremony on June 27, in the presence of the provincial governor of Upper Austria, Dr. Josef Pühringer, the president of the Upper Austrian Economic Chamber, Dr. Rudolf Trauner and Gunter Kastler, mayor of Hörsching.

The warehouse and logistics space of the additional building covers an area of over 10,000 sqm and provides 20,000 pallet spaces. The commissioning of the new plant is scheduled for the beginning of 2017 and will create about 30 new jobs.

At Dachser in Austria, 468 employees contribute to create a homogeneous network between flow of goods, information and carriers at any time. In the process, the interaction of 11 branches ensures an intelligent combination of logistical network services. The business model includes transport logistics, warehousing and customized services within the three business segments Dachser European Logistics, Dachser Food Logistics and Dachser Air & Sea Logistics.
