Christian Süß is the new manager of the Regional Unit South at TFG Transfracht

On November 1, 2015, Christian Süß (47) assumed the position of head of Regional Unit South at TFG Transfracht in Munich. Following the appointment, he is now in charge of the AlbatrosExpress services for Bamberg, Nuremberg, Regensburg, Augsburg, Burghausen and Munich.
Christian Süß brings many years of experience in intermodal logistics to his new position. His previous posting was as head of Regional Sales South at DB Schenker Rail, and before 2008, he was responsible for several activities at DB Schenker Automotive, such as developing transport plans for well-known carmakers and automotive suppliers.
TFG Transfracht is Europe’s market leader for containerized seaport hinterland services. Its extensive AlbatrosExpress network enables the company to operate daily connections from the ports of Hamburg, Bremerhaven and Wilhelmshaven to over 15,000 locations throughout Germany, Austria, the Czech Republic and Switzerland. This network provides 4,000 TEU in transport capacity each day.
TFG Transfracht is a company of the DB Mobility Logistics AG. In 2014, the company generated revenues of EUR 228 million and handled a transport volume of 872,000 TEU.
