Chinese Prime Minister Li Keqiang to visit the CMA CGM Group headquarters

The Chinese Prime Minister and French Foreign Affairs Minister visit confirms the CMA CGM Group’s status in China; two major economic agreements will be concluded

The CMA CGM Group is honored to receive the Chinese Prime Minister Mr Li Keqiang in its Marseilles headquarters on 1 July 2015. He will be accompanied by France Minister of Foreign Affairs Mr Laurent Fabius, the Minister of State for Foreign Trade Mr Matthias Fekl and a chinese ministerial delegation during this visit. This delegation will include the Chinese Foreign Affairs Minister Mr Yi Wang, the Reform and Development Commission Minister Mr Shaoshi Xu, the Trade Minister Mr Hucheng Gao, Chinese ambassador in France Mr Jun Zhai, and the Consul General Mrs Jinsong Yu.
Since 1992 and the opening of its first office in Shanghai, the CMA CGM Group has built strong relationships with China, from commercial agreements to the construction and delivery of containers and vessels.
During 2015 second semester, Chinese shipyards will deliver three 18,000 TEUs vessels to the CMA CGM Group. Those will be the Group’s largest vessels and the biggest ones to have ever been built by Chinese shipyards. They will be named after great explorers, and one of them will be named CMA CGM Zheng He, in recognition of the famous Chinese explorer.
