The current core business of Bulung Logistics is composed of LTL and FTL road transport, project cargo – mainly for power plant construction, and intermodal transport using 45‘ containers. “Together with partners in Turkey and the neighbouring countries we also take over customs clearance on demand“, says Yusuf Erkara, Managing Director, in the interview with the Austrian transport magazine Österreichische Verkehrszeitung.
The special features of the service portfolio include trucks equipped with coil troughs for urgent transports on behalf of the automotive industry. The medium-term target of the management is to establish a designated air and sea freight division, to offer customers a global full range service in the future.
The logo of Bulung Logistics has a long tradition. The Bulung sign has been used as a motive in carpets for more than 3,000 years. Its four corners and eight compass directions are a symbol of the globe and its variety, which the Schwechat-based enterprise puts on its flags. In the current year they expect a turnover of EUR 9 million.
