Vienna has now a new offer for the secure storage of parcels e.g. Christmas presents, or for the redirection of parcels. As many as seven A1 parcel stations were set up in the past weeks.
The A1 Parcel App allows private individuals to rent a
compartment in the A1 Parcel Station and store their orders securely there or
even exchange gifts. Local companies can also rent a locker in this way and
thus offer their customers more service – regardless of opening hours.
In addition, the two parcel service providers DPD and GLS can also use the A1
Parcel Station as an alternative delivery location if the recipient is not at
home. The customer is notified directly by the parcel service via e-mail or
notification card.
