Arvato provides international logistics for “Audi VR experience”

As a rollout partner for Audi’s digital retail concept, Arvato SCM Solutions has successfully launched the “Audi VR experience” into the first car dealerships in Germany, Belgium, France, Ireland, Italy, the Netherlands, Poland, Sweden, the United Kingdom, Spain and Canada. Other countries are to follow. Arvato is responsible for both physical and digital supply chain management, with services ranging from purchasing, storage and distribution of virtual reality glasses to key-user training, IT operations and support. 

With the fully functional virtual reality application for customer service in the “Audi VR experience” car dealership, car buyers can experience the vehicle model configured to their liking almost realistically in 3D during the consultation – including light and sound effects that round off the visual experience impressively. The “Audi VR experience” enables the complete configuration of the entire vehicle range. 

The virtual reality application is part of the digital retail concept for Audi trading partners, which aims to expand the strengths of stationary trade with innovative technologies. All hardware modules will be rolled out by the Corporate Information Management division of Arvato SCM Solutions.
