The Haeger & Schmidt Group and the parent company Felbermayr are intensifying their cooperation: they opened a joint sales office in Hamburg at the beginning of December. The primary objective is to further improve the quality of support for overseas forwarders, carriers and shippers.
Haeger & Schmidt Logistics offers a diverse portfolio in the field of maritime and hinterland logistics. The focus is on multimodal transport solutions by inland waterway and rail to and from the seaports of Rotterdam and Antwerp. The transport and lifting technology company Felbermayr traditionally carries out demanding road and heavy transports.
“We are in a position to offer our customers extremely attractive logistics solutions. Opening our office in Hamburg allows us to offer the advantages of one-stop logistics solutions directly to customers in northern Germany”, says Felix Zocher, Sales Manager of Haeger & Schmidt Logistics.
Felbermayr’s Sales Manager Clemens Felbermayr comments: “As we are very export-oriented with regard to road transports from Austria, the new location will result in valuable synergies for southbound transports, for example to Austria, Italy, Slovenia and the Balkan region.”
The logistics expert Detlev Krieger has been appointed as contact person in the Hamburg sales office. He has been familiar with the industry for many years and will manage and set up the office.
With the companies Haeger & Schmidt Logistics, HSW Logistics (both based in Duisburg), Haeger & Schmidt Logistics Belgium NV (Antwerp), ETK Euro Terminal Kehl and Best Logistics Sp.z o.o (Stettin), the Haeger & Schmidt Group offers a comprehensive logistics portfolio. Around 200 employees are adding to the range of services with consistent customer orientation.
