Ekol continues to strengthen its fleet, by adding 150 units of Mercedes-Benz Actros 1845 LSnRL trucks in line with its growth targets. Ekol Chairman Ahmet Musul and Procurement, Administration and Investments General Manager Levent Demir received the new generation of heavy-duty trucks at a ceremony hosted by Mercedes-Benz Türk CEO Süer Sülün on September 17th, 2018, at the Mercedes-Benz Türk headquarters in Esenyurt, Istanbul.
Ekol added 150 eco and driver-friendly Mercedes-Benz Actros 1845 LSnRL 4X2 Model heavy-duty trucks, equipped with the state-of-the-art Euro 6 engines, to its fleet. Almost 2,000 of the heavy-duty trucks in Ekol’s fleet are Mercedes-Benz.
Ekol has one of the largest logistics fleets in Europe, with 5,500 self-owned vehicles. Chairman Musul remarked on Ekol’s latest investment, saying: “At Ekol Logistics, our partnership with Mercedes-Benz does not only depend on our vehicle investments; we have also carried automotive parts of the brand to Mercedes-Benz factories across Europe since 2008. We hope to continue this long and profitable partnership with Mercedes-Benz Türk in the years ahead.
