In 1990, shortly after the fall of the Iron Curtain, the Lagermax corporate group established its first location abroad in Hungary, a former Comecon state. The headquarters of Lagermax Autótranszport Kft. Is still at its original location in Budaörs, close to Hugnary’s captial.
In 2015 Lagermax is Hungary’s leading automotive logistics company, present at four locations: In addition to the headquarters in Budaörs, there are locations in the port of Csepel near Budapest, the Suzuki plant in Esztergom, and the Mercedes Benz plant in Kecskemét. The enterprise has 300,000 m² warehouse space for new cars, operates a vehicle fleet of 75 car carriers and has more than 300 employees.
