25-years-jubilee of Lagermax Autotransport Hungary

In 1990, shortly after the fall of the Iron Curtain, the Lagermax corporate group established its first location abroad in Hungary, a former Comecon state. The headquarters of Lagermax Autótranszport Kft. Is still at its original location in Budaörs, close to Hugnary’s captial.

In 2015 Lagermax is Hungary’s leading automotive logistics company, present at four locations: In addition to the headquarters in Budaörs, there are locations in the port of Csepel near Budapest, the Suzuki plant in Esztergom, and the Mercedes Benz plant in Kecskemét. The enterprise has 300,000 m² warehouse space for new cars, operates a vehicle fleet of 75 car carriers and has more than 300 employees.

170,000 vehicles are transported per year.

“Highest quality, reliability and customer orientation are still the basis, to remain successful on the highly competitive automotive sector”, said Imre Domina and János Molnár, the two managing directors of Lagermax Autótranszport Kft., being convinced to be prepared for the future. “This is appreciated by both our national partners among the car importers as well as many well-known car manufacturers for who we can work internationally.”

In addition to pure vehicle transport throughout Eruope, Lagermax Autotransport Hungary offers a range of services such as vehicle modifications, paints, truck repairs, customs services and EKAER. A private mobile service vehicle with Lagermax-vehicle technicians can help 24/7, in case a truck should have a technical problem.

In addition to pure vehicle logistics, the Lagermax Group has been operating with Lagermax Spedíció Kft. in the forwarding sector and with Lagermax AED Hungary Kft. in the supply of spare parts in Budapest since 1994. The geographical proximity between the locations Budapest and Budaörs results in perfect synergies. Thus Lagermax can map all automobile services as an international transport and logistics company.
