Wiener Lokalbahnen Cargo offers jobs with a future in the mobility sector in diverse fields of activity. Currently WLC is looking for trained locomotive drivers in Germany, to ensure a safe and punctual transport of goods throughout Germany and Europe. In addition to management, control and responsibility of freight trains, this responsible task also includes communication with the control center and shunting operations, as well as trips to terminals, access roads and works trains.

Wiener Lokalbahnen Cargo (WLC), a company of Wiener Stadtwerke, is one of Austria’s largest providers of rail freight transport and transports goods throughout Europe. Based in the port of Vienna, the WLC company has an ideal starting point right in the centre of Middle and Eastern Europe. There is another office in Germany, in Berlin. The most important German terminals also include Bremerhaven, Duisburg, Hamburg, Ludwigshafen or Schwarzheide. Each year, more than 3.2 million tonnes of goods and over 5,700 freight trains between the North Sea and the Black Sea are transported across Europe.
