Bernd Müller (46) will take over the management of Wiener Lokalbahnen Cargo (WLC) as of mid-August. In this role, he succeeds WLC’s long-time managing director Gerald Retscher, who retires. This was announced by the Wiener Lokalbahnen Group on May 24 in a press release.

Born in Salzburg, Bernd Müller has a flawless career as a logistics and rail freight expert. From 2010-2013 he was the branch manager at DB Schenker in the area of ​​Rail Logistics and Forwarding in Vienna and then moved to the second management level of Rail Cargo Austria as an authorized officer.
