Universal Transport takes over heavy lift specialist Nosreti

With effect from 1 January 2018, the renowned Czech heavy transport company Nosreti with its 47 employees will be taken over and become part of Universal Transport Prague. Silence has been agreed on the purchase price.

Universal Transport Prague was founded in 1995 and today employs more than 50 people. UT Prague has an extensive fleet of vehicles for large and heavy transport, to which the takeover adds around 30 tractor units.

“Nosreti fits in perfectly with our energy bundling strategy, as its many years of experience and local contacts are a perfect complement to our portfolio. The takeover is an important move to expand the entire Universal Transport Group,” says Holger Dechant from the parent company in Paderborn. The management of Nosreti’s expanded company in the Czech Republic is in the hands of Managing Director Burkhard Jung, who has worked for Universal Transport in Prague for many years.
