Reorganising the competences TX Logistik AG is responding to the increasing importance of the maritime division. Wolfgang Debusmann will assume responsibility of the maritime division at the Troisdorf-Spich location as Director. Klaus Niemöhlmann, taking over the function of the Regional Sales Director Maritim, will go to the strategically important location in Hamburg to expand the sales division there.
“We had ambitious targets for this year,” said Patrick Zille, member of the the Management Board of TX Logistik, responsible for sales and marketing. “With the objective of accelerating growth, we make every effort to strengthen the structure and to develop our business in line with the corporate strategy.”
Wolfgang Debusmann adds special expertise to the company. For more than 25 years, he has been working in the logistics sector. Most recently, he had been in charge of the sales, marketing and international transport divisions as CEO of Emons Spedition GmbH in Cologne for many years. His tasks included both the management of the central body for sales and marketing, as well as the management of the sales teams at 22 offices counting more than 100 employees.
Klaus Niemöhlmann is very well connected in the northern region, which shall be a benefit to TX Logistik AG.
“Our goal is to provide equal and sophisticated rail system services from all relevant ingoing and outgoing ports. At the same time we want to shift even more transport volumes from road to rail,” says Patrick Zilles. “This becomes only feasible with a good management team on site, and close relations with customers and partners.”
TX Logistik was founded in 1999 as a private railway company and has a powerful European network. With approximately 500 employees, the company generated annual sales of more than EUR 250 million in 2014. Since March 2011, TX Logistik has been a fully-owned company of Trenitalia, a subsidiary of Ferrovie dello Stato Italiane.
