Turkey transport: Rail Cargo Operator and BALO form joint venture

Rail Cargo Operator CSKD s.r.o. (Prag) and BALO Büyük Anadolu Lojistik Anadolu Lojistik Organizasyonlar A.S., Turkey plan to establish a full function joint venture based in Istanbul (Turkey). The merger project involves intermodal cargo transport and associated services on the lines from and to Turkey.
Rail Cargo Operator – CSKD, a company of the Rail Cargo Group, operates accompanied and unaccompanied intermodal transports on all major rail corridors between Central Europe and the North/West European ports, the northern Adriatic ports and between the Ruhr area and Southeastern Europe to Greece and Turkey.
The product range of Rail Cargo Operator comprises unaccompanied combined transport, including the system for innovative semi trailer transhipment, as well as accompanied combined transport – the rolling road (ROLA).
