With a probability of 99.36 per cent, a bankruptcy of BTK Befrachtungs- und Transportkontor GmbH is almost impossible. For the sixth time in succession, Creditreform has handed over the CrefoZert to the Rosenheim logistics company, and confirmed recently that it had a successful financial year 2017 and a credit rating well above the industry average.
Currently, about 1,050 companies throughout Germany have been awarded the credit seal, of which 25 are operating in the transport and warehousing sector. For the award, the credit index must be between 100 and 249, the BTK has reached 147 and is thus in the upper third of the certified companies.
An important feature of their good ability to pay in the 2017 financial year was an increase in the equity ratio from 23 to 26 per cent. This puts the Rosenheim-based logistics company well above the industry average of 22 per cent.
With a stable headcount of 281 employees (+ 8%), which generated sales of EUR 72 million (+ 9%) in the Logistics and Transport business units, BTK is ready for the future. The company honors the success of two months of company affiliation with a profit share of 16 per cent of a gross monthly salary.
In addition, 50 anniversary bonuses were paid last year for five, ten, fifteen or twenty years of service. The low turnover rate of less than 1 per cent in the commercial sector shows how good the company’s working climate is.
“In the past fiscal year, the fight for drivers and cargo space has been extreme. With these difficult market conditions, we have secured our reliability with a well-trained workforce, continuous and thus timely process improvements, as well as consistent investment in our own fleet “, Franz Weiß, Chief Executive Officer Human Resources and Finance, explains the growth of the company.
One of the milestones of the past fiscal year was the introduction of a new freight forwarding software that covers the entire process from order acceptance to invoicing as an integrated enterprise resource planning system (ERP).
The BTK Befrachtungs- und Transportkontor GmbH implements national and international transports for customers from industry and trade, among other things with its own fleet of 154 tractors and 160 semitrailers. In addition, around 15,000 m² of logistics space in Rosenheim and Raubling are used to organise cargo handling, warehousing and value-added services for regional companies with a barcode-based ERP system.
Its long-standing references include SCA’s Packaging and Hygiene Products divisions, RKW and Wepa. BTK is a member of the European Cargo Federation of International Freight Forwarders (ELVIS AG) and the pan-European general cargo network International Logistics Network (ILN).
