Reichhart Logistik wins major order from Tenneco

Reichhart Logistik Gruppe expand their presence to 19 locations in Germany, Austria and France. From October 2015 the company is awarded the new service provider of Tenneco at their location in Edenkoben. On a total surface of 170,000 m² 80 employees will manage production supply from goods receipt to provision for shipping.
Apart from goods receipt, the services include the supply and disposal of the lines by the GLT ring railway, KLT-tugger and trucks, and transportation of finished goods or semi-finished products to the warehouses. The order processing is carried out in 3-shift operation:
Monday to Friday around the clock, on weekends with performance depending on customer needs.
The American automotive supplier Tenneco specializes in development, production and sale of exhaust systems and components for passenger and commercial vehicles. Edenkoben is the European headquarters of the US company.
Moreover Reichhart Logistik Gruppe has established a subsidiary in the Czech Republic, to expand the business activities towards Eastern Europe from 2016. The growth of the family business in the past years as well as existing regional business make the Czech Republic an attractive location. At the same time,  the move to another country opens up new opportunities for German and Eastern European customers to win more business.
