Quehenberger Air + Ocean GmbH, with its operational headquarters in Bergheim bei Salzburg, celebrated its fifth anniversary on January 1st, 2020. Their core business are customised and integrated global air and sea freight forwarding services.
These are provided by about 100 employees at 20 locations in 16 countries of Central, Eastern and Southeastern Europe (including offices in St. Petersburg, Odessa, Hamburg and Constanza), also supported by forwarding partners with locations worldwide.
Quehenberger Air + Ocean handles around 30,000 TEU of ocean freight annually, as well as a considerable volume of air freight, generating close to EUR 50 million sales. The forwarding company focuses by its own account on customers with demand for solutions to optimise their transport logistics processes.
The company is aiming to be the best medium-sized freight forwarder for air and sea freight in Central, Eastern and Southeastern Europe. To reach this highly ambitious target, Managing Director Robert Hartmann and Director Airfreight Gerhard Haslauer count on tailor-made service concepts, highly specialised employees and their digital customer care platform.
The web application QCCP – the acronym for Quehenberger Customer Care Platform – contains all reporting tools relevant for the shipping industry, such as current shipment data, document management, or data exchange with suppliers and logistics partners.
Furthermore, the digital solution includes information of airlines and shipping companies, including visual live tracking. The system was launched with the first key customers in December 2019 and will be successively extended to other business partners.
