The Committee of the Supervisory Board of ÖBB Rail Cargo Group has renewed the contract with Thomas Kargl (left in the picture). Since 2017, the manager has been responsible for the Group’s strong business in Russia and Asia.
Thomas Kargl (47) worked in various areas of the ÖBB Group and, as the CEO of Far East Land Bridge, he was responsible for the expansion of intermodal transport systems between Europe, Russia and China. As CEO of Rail Cargo Group, he focuses on the international orientation of Rail Cargo Group and its expansion, especially towards Russia and Asia.
