Nunner Logistics celebrates „comeback“ in Leibnitz

The company Nunner Logistics which is based in the Netherlands and exclusively owned by CEO Erwin Cootjans returns to its roots in Austria and will open a new location in Leibnitz where everything started 60 years ago. The company already underwent significant expansion in 2015. They purchased a forwarding company in Romania, and opened two new offices in the Netherlands and a logistics centre in Poland.
A fleet of 100 trucks comprising curtain-siders and refrigerated trucks will be established in Leibnitz in the coming months with which FTL and LTL solutions will be offered all over Europe. Moreover Nunner will focus on multimodal transport solutions ex the EU to the CIS States in the Southern Styrian location.
We opened this new location to offer best-in-class transport solutions to our current customers and to prepare for additional growth in transport volumes in Europe“, says Patrick Sohnegg, general manager of Nunner Logistics in Leibnitz. “Moreover our fleet can meet the demand of all Nunner branches all over Europe for rapidly increasing transport solutions.”
CEO Erwin Cootjans, who long ago started his career with Nummer in Leibnitz, is delighted to be back in Austria with his company. “Also in a new Europe, Leibnitz is in a top logistics position regarding the southern European markets”, he says.
Nunner Logistics was founded in Holland in 1989 as subsidiary of the Alois Nunner, Speditions GesmbH based in Austria since 1955. The company is present in Estonia, Lithuania, the Netherlands, Poland, Austria, Romania, Russia, Switzerland, Spain and the Czech Republic. They offer full service logistics for the whole supply chain including individual industry solutions.
