The Nothegger Group is expanding its operations in Upper Austria, and has taken over a logistics property including a more than 17,500 m² covered warehouse near the ÖBB Terminal Wels. With more than 100 employees, the company manages two logistics sites (Marchtrenk, Wels) with a total of 22,400 m² of storage space.
The offering in Marchtrenk and Wels includes warehouse logistics with additional services such as picking, co-packing, cross-docking and high-bay warehousing, as well as national general cargo transports to their own houses at night, and daily general cargo lines to Germany. In addition, all intermodal connections – including trucking – from / to Switzerland, Germany, Italy and Turkey are managed from Wels.
Under the slogan “Nothegger goes East”, Nothegger Transport Logistik will launch daily groupage transports in September with regular transit times including customs clearance from / to Austria to Slovenia, Croatia, Serbia, Macedonia, and Albania. The West Balkans region is served via the central hub in Zagreb.
