On October 24, the delegation of KTZ NC JSC, headed by the Chairman of the Management Board of the Company Sauat Mynbayev took part in the Central Asian Railway Summit in Ankara. The heads of the railway administrations of Kazakhstan, Turkey, Iran, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan discussed issues of cooperation in the field of freight transportation, the organization of container trains from China.
The importance of maximizing the potential of the new lines connecting the countries of Central Asia was noted. The summit participants approved uniform tariffs that will be applied when organizing container trains on routes from China through Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, Iran to Turkey.
The summit also addressed the mutual use of fitting platforms, accelerating their turnover in order to increase the efficiency of the transportation process and reduce delivery time.
