The Milšped Group, in cooperation with their partner, TTS Transport & Terminal Services AG, has successfully organized the shipping, customs clearance and unloading of 29 trams which have been donated to Belgrade by the city of Basel.
“I am very pleased that at the beginning of this year, in concert with our Swiss partners, we managed to organize the shipping, customs clearance and unloading of 29 trams which are a donation of the city of Basel to Belgrade. The shipping was carried out by railroad, and the entire process – from the loading in Basel to the unloading in Belgrade, was completed in 20 days,” Miloš Mihailović, the director of air, ship and rail transportation, pointed out.
The vehicles were delivered in two lots during the months of January and February of this year. In the first lot, 14 trams were shipped, and 15 in the second lot.
“The organization of this specific shipping is very significant for our company in regards to the experience obtained, which will be very useful to us for future similar shipping in Serbia as well as in the region as a whole,” Miloš Mihailović concluded.
