Since September 2015, Loxxess is the logistics and fulfilment partner of the fashion label Jan Vanderstorm. The new partnership includes all physical processes from incoming goods to warehousing, order picking and dispatch to end customers – and as the case may be also returns.
The Jan Vanderstorm brand represents fashion for men in plus sizes to size 70 (6XL) – classical as well as casual menswear. The product line ranges from outer garments such as polo shirts, T-shirts, cardigans, functional or casual jackets, to trousers, jeans and trendy accessories.
What has been a decisive criterion when selecting the logistics partner, was Loxxess’ capability as a fulfilment service provider. In the name of the customer the call centre in Berlin takes care of order acceptance and product consulting by phone, as well as processing of the catalogue orders by fax or E-mail. In addition they take over receivables management, covering the handling of invoices and incoming payments, as well as various coupon and credit processes.
Another advantage of the new partnership for Jan Vanderstorm is the ability of Loxxess to flexibly cushion the peaks after a catalogue mailing. In these cases orders can increase tenfold. The trained call centre team in Berlin and the employees at the operative logistics site in Bor (Czech Republic) are ready to cope with this.
Loxxess AG is specialising in complex outsourcing projects for industrial and trade logistics. The enterprise is headquartered in Unterföhring, close to Munich, and has about 1,500 employees, 26 logistics sites in Germany, the Czech Republic and Poland, and operates
600,000 m² warehousing area.
