Klagenfurt am Wörthersee is the new general cargo station in the Austrian portfolio of Loxx Logistics GmbH. On Tuesdays and Fridays, the trucks leave the depot in Gelsenkirchen and make their way to the capital of Carinthia. Thus, the southernmost province of Austria is even better connected than before to the general cargo network of international freight forwarding.
Klagenfurt is the 5th receiving station of Loxx in Austria. There are also general cargo transports from Gelsenkirchen to Graz, Innsbruck, Linz and Vienna. The latter two receiving stations are approached daily.
Loxx is an owner-operated, medium-sized logistics company with headquarters in Gelsenkirchen in the Ruhr Area. Today the group comprises six operative companies as well as LOXX Holding GmbH, and is represented at six sites: in Gelsenkirchen, Pleidelsheim near Stuttgart, Warsaw, Poznan and Moscow. The Loxx Group employs 540 members of staff across Europe and in 2016 achieved a turnover of more than EUR 120 million.
