Lagermax group is further expanding on the Balkans

Lagermax AED Croatia d.o.o. officially presented its new forwarding and logistics terminal in Luka near Zagreb on 25 September 2015. The facility will serve as a hub and logistics junction for connections between Eastern and Western Europe, as well as for north and southbound forwarding services. The catchment area covers Croatia, Bosnia, Serbia and Montenegro.
With the new location for freight forwarding, warehousing and transport logistics in Luka near Zagreb, Lagermax AED Croatia responds to the continuously increasing volume of goods. Covering a total area of 50,200 m², the new facility offers more than 17,000 m² of warehouse space, 25,000 pallet spaces and an office area of 1,300 m². The total costs amounted to EUR 8.5 million.
The location in Luka adjoins the area of the Croatian foreign branch of Lagermax Autotransport. This creates synergies between the shipping industry and the automotive sector within the Lagermax Group. The company employs over 320 employees throughout Croatia.
Lagermax AED Croatia has been established 15 years ago and has become market leader in freight forwarding, logistics and express service area. Apart from the new logistics facility in Luka near Zagreb there are branch offices in Split, Osijek, Pula, Koprivnica and Rijeka. To provide full coverage in national distribution, the company uses the services of more than 50 long-term partners/freight companies.
