Kuehne + Nagel relocates Eastern Europe headquarters to Hamburg

In order to exploit business opportunities in the European markets more effectively, Kuehne + Nagel will establish the two organisational units as of October 1, 2016: Central / Eastern Europe and Western Europe. Under the auspices of the region Central / Eastern Europe with its head office in Hamburg, Kuehne + Nagel will consolidate the German organisation and the Eastern European countries. The region Western Europe will be headquartered in Amsterdam, Netherlands, as of October 1, 2016.

Dr. Hansjoerg Rodi will join the Kuehne + Nagel Group as from October 1, 2016, and will lead the Central / Eastern Europe region. From 2008 to 2015 he was Chief Executive Officer Central Europe region at DB Schenker Logistics.

Peder Winther will become Regional Manager Western Europe. Successor in his current position as Head of the Middle East / Africa region will be Erwin Wittemaier.
