For H.Essers this acquisition is strategic in order to further enhance its activities in the pharma-logistics with focus on the Frankfurt region

Kammann Thermologistik becomes part of H.Essers group

With this acquisition H.Essers  can expand its customer portfolio with a number of strategic new German pharma companies. Kammann Transporte was founded in 1999 by Jens Olivier Kammann and performed originally only refrigerated transport. Since 2002, the company started to focus on pharma transports which led to the foundation of Kammann Thermologistik in 2009 by Jens Olivier Kammann and Wolfgang Waldow.
The 41 employees of Kammann Thermologistik and the fleet – consisting of 24 tractors and 27 thermo trailers – will be taken over completely.  Besides the thermo fleet Kammann has a GDP/AMG certified cross-dock warehouse of 2,250 m². Business managers Jens Olivier Kammann and Wolfgang Waldow will also remain active after the acquisition. In 2014 the company realized a turnover of EUR 6 million.
