With the participation of JCL Logistics additional infrastructure will be created at the venues for the Olympic Winter Games 2022 in Beijing. By fall 2019, the Vorarlberg-based manufacturer of cable cars is to build nine ropeways at the Yanqing National Alpine Ski Center, where the alpine skiing events are to take place: five detachable 8-passenger gondola lifts, two detachable 6-seater chairlifts with bubbles and two fixed-grip quad chairlifts.

The components, a total of more than 500 TEU, as well as four rope drums with a respective unit weight of between 30 and 55 tonnes are transported by JCL Logistics from Vorarlberg to the ski resort located about 70 kilometers northwest of Beijing. One of the last containers has just left the premises of Doppelmayr in the direction of Beijing. The systems will be assembled before the end of this year.
