New owner of Spedition Resch GmbH, a forwarding company based in Oberwang, district of Vöcklabruck/Upper Austria: The logistics group JCL Logistics took over the company effective January 1st, 2020, thus enhancing their distribution network in Austria.
JCL Logistics writes in a press release that Spedition Resch
will be integrated including its entire vehicle fleet and all employees at the
location and will continue operating as a branch. It was agreed to maintain
silence about details of the contract.
Spedition Resch has been operating since 2000. Its core business is furniture
delivery and assembly. The services range from distribution of packed and
unpacked new furniture in Austria and parts of the neighbouring EU countries to
private delivery.
“The takeover is a further move to expand our position in this area. It
gives local and international customers greater access to our B2C service
portfolio in Austria”, says Andreas Weiss, COO Contract Logistics of the
JCL Group.
