JCL Logistics grows through acquisition in Baden-Württemberg

Thanks to its positive business development and intensive project work, the logistics company JCL Logistics is able to add a location to its network. The site in Kehl am Rhein in Baden-Württemberg, previously partly operated by Panalpina, was transferred to the new owner – the subsidiary JCL Logistics Germany GmbH – effective 1 July 2016.

The global logistics company providing transport, contract logistics and supply chain management takes over all the employees. “The key factor for success is the staff, because we are and will be a People’s Business”, says COO Robert Brugger. The Kehl branch is managed by Armin Grob.

Located in the Kehl port area, the logistics facility offers direct rail connection and access to the Rhine river, and serves as a hub for throughput, storage and transport in multimodal transport operations. With a 16,000 m² covered warehouse and an open area of the same size, the object is one of the largest in this region.
