IPAK service: MSC, UASC and CMA CGM join forces

MSC Mediterranean Shipping Company announces a collaboration with shipping lines UASC and CMA CGM, in order to provide an enhanced service between Europe and India Sub-Continent. A total of eight vessels, each of 8,100 TEU capacity, will now cover 15 ports as part of a rotation which will launch on Tuesday 26th July from Port Qasim with CMA-CGM La Traviata.

The original IPAK service operated by MSC was most recently upgraded last summer to include a mainline call in Hazira. The new announcement confirms four vessels will be operated by MSC, three by CMA CGM and one by UASC.

The three-way collaboration provides an enhanced service offering for customers, introducing the ports of Southampton, Dunkirk, Le Havre, Djibouti and Tangier.

Port rotation: Southampton, Rotterdam, Antwerp, Felixstowe, Dunkirk, Le Havre, King Abdullah, Djibouti, Port Qasim, Nhava Sheva, Hazira, Mundra, King Abdullah, Gioia Tauro, Tangier, Southampton.
